Lauren and Ollie’s Kew Gardens Wedding

It has been a pleasure to work on so many of the wonderful weddings we waited so long to deliver as we emerged out of lockdown. Lauren and Ollie’s was no exception, beautifully planned and executed, a true romantic celebration of love in a spectacular setting.

Lauren and Ollie held their wedding at Kew Gardens with the ceremony in the Nash Conservatory and the wedding breakfast and party held in the Temperate House.

The Temperate House was lit using uplighters throughout, a soft break up wash to the walkways and festoon strings which followed the short walkways and over the dance floor. The front of the Temperate House was beautifully lit with lighting to the fascia and stairs to greet guests as they arrived. The dance floor set up created a sharp look, with black dance floor and staging, sunstrips and moving lights. Full band audio was provided by Oxygen.

Oxygen supports Hedsor House October Showcase

We provided a beautiful lighting installation to Hedsor House for their October Showcase.

Making the most of the changing season, the venue was filled with stunning autumnal decor by some of Hedsors handpicked suppliers including red and orange floral decorations and mini pumpkins provided by Richard Elder Floral Design as well as beautiful golden trees from Twilight Trees. We complimented the design with subtle and soft amber lighting throughout the venue which created a warming atmosphere and gave couples the chance to see the venue lit up.

Micro Weddings

A beautiful intimate wedding at Kew Gardens under COVID19 restrictions

Tom and Lizzie held their beautiful intimate wedding at Kew Gardens under Government COVID19 restrictions with 15 of their closest friends and family.

The ceremony and wedding breakfast were both held in the stunning surroundings of the Nash Conservatory, a truly breath-taking venue and Lizzie and Tom ensured the day was filled with so much love, laughter, personal touches and pretty details including a beautiful meadow aisle under the backdrop of a beautiful autumn day. The venue acted as the perfect centre stage for their very special day.

We feel truly honoured to be part of people’s special days and being involved in a micro wedding makes us incredibly proud to do what we do, adding the finishing touches to carefully planned details and being able to watch these moments come to life.

We can’t wait to continue to work with more couples and more special moments!

Oxygen provides production for Felix & Marzia’s Wedding

ON MONDAY 19 AUGUST 2019, WE WERE DELIGHTED TO PROVIDE THE PRODUCTION FOR FELIX AND MARZIA’S WEDDING IN THE TEMPERATE HOUSE, KEW GARDENS

It is always a pleasure providing our services at all kinds of events and we feel confident undertaking the responsibility to work with high profile clients. With only four months to prepare for the big day, we couldn’t have done this without the efficient communication and outstanding event designs from The Isle of You. We believe that trust is paramount in any partnership, so we maintain confidentiality across the board and put our clients at ease throughout the whole process.

The beautiful couple, Felix and Marzia, are best known for their internet personalities. Felix, i.e PewDiePie, has over 101 million subscribers and ranks as the second-most subscribed and eleventh-most viewed profile on YouTube, so it was crucial that the visuals for their wedding were exceptional… and so they were!

We went to great lengths to truly understand what the couple wanted for their special day. Working closely to their brief with The Isle of You and showing them around the venue, we were able to deliver a bespoke, personal and impactful service for a day that will remain with them. Marzia shared her excitement on her socials, saying “Everything about the evening was so magical” and “it was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever.”

Held in what was once the largest glasshouse in the world, the stunning Temperate House is home to one of the most diverse and largest living plant collections in the world. We have worked closely with our friends at Kew Gardens to ensure the logistical procedures are in place and everyone works carefully in this environment as the guests enjoyed their seated dinner catered by Caper & Berry.

The wonderful Clíona and Lisa at The Isle of You ensured the day looked marvellous, and the tight turnaround ran effortlessly. From wheeling in the first flight case, we had two hours to set up all our production. Our role predominately involved providing lighting and sound but also consisted of contributing to furniture and providing the stage and dance floor for the magical first dance. An insight into what we provided includes an impressive 95 up-lighters, a rustic disco lighting package and a remarkable 150 metres of festoon lighting (the first time anyone has ever put festoon in The Temperate House!).

A personal highlight for us at Oxygen Event Services Ltd. was capturing Felix and Marzia’s reaction as they saw their vision come to life for the first time. Our soft, elegant production complimented by warm, rustic colours left the couple glowing with excitement. The couple expressed their joy, with PewDiePie sharing “Our wedding day was the best day ever! Really couldn’t have asked for a better wedding. Everything was perfect and I’m just so happy.”

Summer Fete Wedding

The informality of a village fete with the style and formality of a wedding ceremony

For their wedding this couple wanted to create a summer fete feel for their big day. To achieve this we bought in an antique carousel and a pink helter-skelter with some traditional side show stalls to provide some of the unique entertainment. We installed a number of different tents and Chinese hats dotted around the venue to create different areas including a tea room and bar. Speeches were held from a band stand in the centre of the field whilst guests enjoyed a picnic lunch from baskets and branded blankets.

Oxygen supplied all the rides, structures, bandstand, PA and power distribution for this amazing, if a bit different, wedding.

Egyptian themed dinner dance birthday party

A stylish Egyptian themed dinner dance on a private estate with, after- dinner cabaret entertainment

We designed a bespoke temporary structure overlooking the lake, with huge glass-walled pagodas leading to a fully produced dining and performance structure. A large pyramid stage was constructed complete with theatrical effects of dry ice, hydraulic lift artist reveal and an extensive moving head and LED lighting rig.

A swing trio entertained during dinner followed by a fully choreographed Egyptian Dance show complete with pyrotechnics and magical illusions. The evening was concluded by a jaw-dropping firework show over the lake, set to live music.

All structures and associated facilities, power generation and distribution, interior and exterior lighting design & installation, staging audio and entertainment were provided by Oxygen.

“Thanks very much for an amazing party and please pass on my congratulations to all involved – for the past two weeks Mum and I have been ploughing our way through HUNDREDS of thank you letters and it would appear our party is close to being voted the party of the decade! Of course, this is all due to your team’s hard work and dedication and I hope that they all enjoyed the evening as much as we did.”

Garden Marquee Anniversary Party

Bespoke structure encompassing the second floor of both houses to ensure all guests are part of the party where ever they are

Logistically challenging, the marquee was built on 6m legs and guttered to the two houses. Star cloth was installed to create a sparkling effect and a mirrored dance floor and bar were built into the flower beds. Atmospheric lighting cut through to highlight the marquee and areas within the marquee and the hedges were lit from within.

Weddings at Claridges

Accentuating the beauty of this world famous hotel

Whether budgets are generous or modest, quality and opulence are always high in demand by our Claridge’s clients. Often displaying excellent taste our couples wish to work with the aesthetics of the venue and our role is to accentuate the beauty of this world famous hotel.

We have bathed Claridge’s in warm Autumn colours and the cools blues and magentas of Winter; installed custom antique mirrored dance floors with matching table runners, turned the ballroom in to an exclusive dance venue and lit entire spaces with glittering candle light.

With the support of Claridge’s everything is possible and whether working with either large or small budget’s the end result is always breath-taking.

Private Residence Marquee Engagement Party

A magical atmosphere incorporating an Italian and Japanese theme

The client wanted to incorporate the beautiful views of their garden, whilst also feeling that the structure was an extension to their home. To incorporate the spacious, however; incredibly technical garden we designed and constructed a large clear structure. The structure began at the large raised patio area and was built down the garden over two levels, incorporating and building around one of their trees into the structure.

The experience began from the moment the guests arrived as they were taken on a spectacular walk past the front of the house through the gardens and over the bridge towards the main event space. The trees were lit with colour changing lighting fixtures and low smoke which create a misted layer over the beautifully lit pond. Whilst the guests arrived they were greeted and escorted to the venue by komodo girls.

The stage incorporated the 2 different levels of the structure was built over the flower bed on the lower level continuing on from the patio. The stage fascia was decorated in line with the stunning flower design of the rest of the event.
