Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to lead production for the ‘Meet the Makers’ event, hosted by the esteemed Harvey & Brockless. Held at the iconic Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden, this event brought together 60 exhibitor stalls, showcasing the finest craftsmanship and innovation in the industry.

At Oxygen Event Services, we took charge of ensuring seamless operations, particularly focusing on two key areas:

Power Management: Upstairs in the Vestibules, our team diligently managed event power for exhibitor stalls, ensuring they had the necessary resources to showcase their offerings effectively. From lighting to equipment, we ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing exhibitors to shine.

Masterclass Sessions: Downstairs, amidst the bustling atmosphere, we orchestrated masterclass sessions that truly stole the show. With a keen focus on delivering top-notch audio experiences, we ensured every attendee could hear the culinary magic happening on stage. Our setup included two cameras – one capturing close-up shots of the chefs’ expert techniques, while the other provided a wide-angle view of the entire preparation area, ensuring no detail was missed.

The event was not just about showcasing products; it was a celebration of craftsmanship, innovation, and passion for the culinary arts. Being a part of such an extraordinary gathering was truly inspiring, and I’m immensely proud of the Oxygen Event Services team for their dedication and expertise in bringing this vision to life.

A huge thank you to Harvey & Brockless for trusting us with the production of this remarkable event, and to all the exhibitors and attendees who made ‘Meet the Makers’ an unforgettable experience. Here’s to many more moments of creativity, collaboration, and culinary excellence!

Last week we were delighted to be involved in a wedding and event showcase at The Charterhouse.

Located in Farringdon, The Charterhouse provides a breathtaking backdrop for both weddings and corporate events. This evening’s creative setup demonstrated how the venue can be transformed to create a distinctive atmosphere.

The Charterhouse is an ideal choice for anyone planning an event, whether it’s an elegant wedding or a sleek corporate gathering. The venue’s ability to meld classic architecture with modern design not only elevates the overall event experience but also leaves a memorable impression on guests.

We are thrilled to have been a part of this showcase and are excited to recommend The Charterhouse to anyone seeking a venue that offers both historical significance with a flair.

This evening was a testament to the limitless possibilities that The Charterhouse holds for event planners and attendees alike.

This January, we had the pleasure of bringing to life an exquisite tasting and showcase event at The Garden Museum, in collaboration with the talented team at Lettice Events. The evening was a celebration of spring’s arrival, featuring inspired floral designs, bespoke menus, and an atmosphere filled with the promise of fresh beginnings.

The Inspiration Behind the Event

The design for the evening was a nod to the rejuvenating essence of spring. We aimed to capture the essence of crisp spring days through beautiful floral arrangements, stunning table designs, and a menu that was as delightful to the palate as it was to the eyes. The delicious food and handcrafted cocktails complimented the theme perfectly.

To enhance the already stunning venue at The Garden Museum, we focused on creating a whimsical lighting setup that accentuated the spring styling. The soft light played off the floral arrangements and table settings, casting a magical glow over the entire event and creating a warm, inviting ambience.

Such an event could only come to life through the collaboration of a dedicated team of creatives and professionals:

We are thrilled to announce that Oxygen has been added to the prestigious list of accredited suppliers at Syon Park. Our accreditation at this distinctive venue reinforces our position as a trusted partner for clients seeking to deliver events and brand experiences that are both unique and unforgettable.

Syon Park is one of the most beautiful country estates in the UK and the last privately owned one in London, owned by the Duke of Northumberland. The venue accommodates intimate gatherings as well as grand parties, offering seating for 160 guests for dinner or accommodating up to 200 guests for a standing reception.

To celebrate our accreditation, we arranged a stunning photoshoot to showcase the potential options of our new partnership with Syon Park. Lighting plays a crucial role in creating a captivating atmosphere for any event. Explore the dramatic lighting colour choices we used to perfectly highlight the venue’s breath-taking architecture.

We are excited about the opportunity to work at Syon Park and eagerly anticipate creating more unforgettable creative experiences. Discover how Syon Park could be the ideal setting for your next special event.

We were delighted to see A&P’s Hedsor House wedding featured on The Lane last week! We worked with the hugely talented Willow and Oak Events to create this beautiful English wedding last summer for this destination wedding, with many of the couple’s guests travelling over from the States.

The ceremony took place in the manicured gardens of the estate’s south lawn, overlooking the rolling hills of the valley beyond. The ceremony was followed by a lively cocktail hour, intimate dinner in the Ballroom and dancing in The Central Hall.

For the ceremony, we designed and installed a discreet sound system solution, hidden within the box hedging to ensure the views were not obscured for guests.

To mix things up, rather than going with the traditional placement of the stage and dance floor, Willow and Oak designed the Dance Party around the door and columns in The Central Hall to frame the stage and to maximise the architecture of the room. The stage was beautifully lined with the incredible flowers from the ceremony aisle with several metres of foliage added to Hedsor’s original, Italianate columns. The couple wanted to keep the dance floor lighting colours warm with a 1920’s vibe whilst The London Function Band ensured the night was roaring!

This month, 20 years ago Paul Edwards created Oxygen Event Services Ltd. Paul took his background in event logistics, site and production management and saw a gap in the market for delivering events with  a high level of logistical and technical planning.  He took his creativity, perseverance and his ability to always be able to see a solution in every challenge, and embarked on the journey of making Oxygen what it is today. Since then, we have had the privilege to be involved in many different memories, projects, brands and experiences, each one with their own logistics and challenges to overcome.

Over the last two decades, we have worked in some of the best venues in the country, we have worked for Royalty, Presidents and governments; for sports brands, high street brands and everything in between. We have built an event arena for 20,000 on a beach, marquees over gardens, in moats, around trees and large enough to host 1000 people for dinner. We have been involved in public events, corporate events, so many weddings, private events and every one of these occasions has meant the world to us.

We have worked with the best talents in the industry, and we are lucky that many of these people have become our friends and biggest supporters. We couldn’t have done any of it without you, so for everyone who has ever worked with us, THANK YOU.

We are so lucky to have some of the most passionate and incredible people working for Oxygen and we are incredibly proud of them.

We wanted to share 20 moments as we celebrate this 20-year milestone. We are not just looking back; we are looking forward with more determination and passion than ever. The journey so far has been incredible, but we truly believe the best is yet to come.

We are delighted to announce we have been appointed as sole preferred AV & production supplier at Christ Church Spitalfields, working alongside Jimmy Garcia Catering. We are incredibly excited to re-establish our relationship with this amazing venue having worked here many times over the years.

Christ Church Spitalfields is in the heart of London’s vibrant East End and is a stunning example of baroque architecture that offers a truly unique blank canvas event space.

We were thrilled to recently join forces with Jimmy Garcia, and Christ Church Spitalfields for a truly memorable showcase. We enhanced the venues natural charm with beautiful lighting, whilst Jimmy Garcia provided mouthwatering catering.

The seamless integration of these three elements served as a testament to the incredible impact that can be achieved by combining exceptional talent and extraordinary venues, resulting in unforgettable experiences.

We cannot wait to work on some incredible events at this amazing venue.

Last night we had the pleasure of entertaining some of our friends from the event industry in the second of our Event Socials this year!

We treated everyone to some delicious food, drink and stand-up comedy that had us all in stitches.

A big shout out to Market Halls, for providing the perfect private event space in The Cavendish Room, the perfect private oasis, overlooking Cavendish Square. Our guests enjoyed a selection of delicious Street Food from the kitchens including Le Bab or Sexy Buns and finished off with doughnuts from Dumdum Donutterie.
